Sacramento to snap out of 90-degree days with cooler, damp weather

Low temperatures near: 54 in Beaumont, 54 in Orange and 56 in Port Arthur.

How cold will it get?

Sunday: Areas of frost before 8 am.

During the day on Sunday, the highs will be in the upper 40s and low 50s. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 15 miles per hour increasing to 16 to 21 miles per hour in the afternoon.

The NWS says there is concern that if any brush fires ignite, there is the potential for the fires to spread rapidly. But rain is likely Saturday morning.

High pressure will be in control of the weather today, bringing mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures to the Capital Region. Winds could gust as high as 31 miles per hour.

Tonight: Becoming partly cloudy and chilly. Winds: East-Southeast 5-13 miles per hour.

The sun will come out Sunday and Monday, boosting temperatures. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 49. Winds: North 3-10 miles per hour. Tonight will be partly cloudy and breezy with a low of 42.
