Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo collects Rs 400 crore worldwide

Continuing with its successful spree at the box office, Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has become the sixth highest Bollywood grosser worldwide with collections of Rs 390 crore worldwide.

Sooraj Barjatya’s latest offering has crossed the mark of Rs 400 crores and the film is still doing commendable business at several screens across the nation.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which hit the screens on November 12, opened to a fabulous response both in the country and overseas. The film was made on an estimated budget of ₹80 crore-100 crore and before it’s release, it recovered an estimated ₹57 crore from its satellite and music rights.

Salman Khan rules the box office with his Midas touch. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is Salman Khan’s third film in a row to do so, after July’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and last year’s Kick. “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which released a day after Diwali has been going strong ever since its release”.
