Salvation Army in Modesto puts out call for toy donations

Volunteers need fresh fruit, onions, carrots, celery, milk, flour, brown sugar and mini-marshmallows, yams, crushed pineapple and butter as well as rolls, 25 loaves of bread for stuffing and much more. Members of the charitable organisation, Festival Republic and volunteers from around Reading will pack food and small Christmas presents into hundreds of parcels, which will be distributed in December.
