Sam Bailey slams Simon Cowell over The X Factor tour
If you’re itching to know just when The X Factor 2015 starts on TV then wonder no longer, as the XFactor UK start date has just been confirmed.
Unbelievably, the voice of “The X Factor“, Peter Dickson, is no more. “It’s obvious they are pushing Fleur to be the star”.
One singer even receives a standing O’ from all four members of the judging panel, which doesn’t feature Louis Walsh this year.
A new X Factor trailer has dropped with a promisingly dramatic montage of sparky auditions and clips of the judges larking around. This will be followed by a second show on Sunday 30 August at the same time. Having Flack at the reins makes a very nice change to the male-heavy presenting line up we’ve seen in previous seasons (though we will miss Dermot and his snappy three-piece suits).
The Xtra Factor will also be making a return, this time with Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom taking the reins.
Yes. Despite calls for the controversial segment of Bootcamp to be axed, the Six Chair Challenge will return for a third series. And the Judges houses stage is rumoured to be broadcast live. Not that there’s ever a good time for it to happen, and it is still a bit raw.
However, we are now clearly in an era that is far more choosy when it comes to what it actually wants, and we have no better evidence of this than the past few years of “The X Factor“.
This year marks the 12th series of the show and programme makers are hoping that the shiny new makeover and new judges will help them to beat Strictly Come Dancing in the Saturday night ratings.
