Samsung Begins Rollout Of Android Marshmallow For Galaxy Devices
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge look set to include full water resistance, updated wireless charging and a pressure sensitive screen, after a promotional video appeared on the company’s official website ahead of the devices’ official unveiling. The rollout is expected for other Galaxy devices soon.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will also bring Google Now on Tap along with a new app drawer and permissions manager to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. The earlier Galaxy model of Samsung introduced in 2015 came with a premium, glass and metal design with refined design and superb display quality. Users are still waiting for the official Marshmallow update on the phablet. So far, Samsung is yet to announce the Android 6.0 release schedule for its other devices.
The phone will be unveiled during a special media event on February 21st in Barcelona, Spain a day before this year’s Mobile World Congress trade show kicks off. It means that if you are looking for a bigger device, the S7 Edge is what you should pick up.
According to Samsung, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is only available for S6 and S6 Edge smartphones. But considering the fact that the Marshmallow update for the S6 and S6 Edge has been released internationally, carriers won’t be too late in the roll-outs.
The feature was pretty much confirmed by a Youtube video that was uploaded by the Indonesia channel of Samsung, highlighting how well the device integrates into your fitness regime and stand the forces of nature.
The Edge screen feature is also being updated by Samsung together with Marshmallow.
