Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) case renders reveal most of the phone’s design
So, what can you expect from the South Korean giant neat year? And this is something that Samsung has done over the past couple of years as well with the launch of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S8. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) won’t feature a dual-camera setup since we’re seeing a single lens snapper on the back.
It’s unclear how much Samsung will reveal at the trade show, but from what Blass reports, the company would still be holding its traditional Galaxy Unpacked event in March, to officially launch the smartphones.
Earlier Samsung was planning to put the fingerprint scanner under the screen but due to lack of space as the screen is curved and is an infinity display thus it would be hard to make it as an in-display fingerprint unlock the device.
Unlike the S8 and S8+ phones, where are almost identical apart from the display changes, the S9 and S9+ will be significantly different. It’s also tipped to get a RAM boost up to 6GB, while the Galaxy S9 will have 4GB.
A case maker has leaked the complete design details for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9, which offers a dual camera with narrower bezels. The next generation devices will be powered by a 10-nm fabrication process which indicates that they are likely to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with Exynos models for some markets. Further, the phones will also feature AKG stereo speakers as well, the report highlighted.
Audiophiles are sure to be thrilled by the fact that the S9 and S9+ look set to retain the 3.5mm jack which is fast becoming a rarity in flagships as of late.
The final piece of news from Evan surrounds the DeX docking station that Samsung introduced with the Galaxy S8. This will be backwards compatible with the company’s 2017 flagships, and will allow the phones to lay flat and turn their screens into a touchpad or a virtual keyboard when attached to an external display.
