Samsung Galaxy A8, Thinnest Ever Smartphone Launched
We might not have to wait that long to see some of these verified or debunked.
We’ve been saying that Samsung may not showcase the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 at the IFA this September and there’s a possibility of an early launch. Samsung’s claims of an estimated 20 million pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 have ended in failure. In the following years, it is hard to envision a different material overtaking metal (aluminum specifically) as the main building block of flagship smartphones. It’s also believed that the company mistook the demand of Galaxy S6 Edge which was said to be significantly popular before one started seeing it in stores.
The home button on the front of the Galaxy A8 also acts as a fingerprint sensor, allowing the user to unlock the device and make payments. Key word: consider.
Samsung did not directly discuss the existence of the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Note 5 Edge in the page.
Samsung Electronics has finally launched the slimmest phone in its lineup – the Galaxy A8 in China, which gets white, black and gold color variants The smartphone has been released in 16GB and 32GB models, though Samsung is yet to reveal the price of the device along with its availability in other regions. That said, not everyone needs an expensive, high-powered flagship. However, judging by the rumors so far, the phone has all the potential to be special and timeless.
Despite this design constraint, engineers have still managed to fit in a relatively high capacity 3,050mAh battery and a 16-megapixel camera – albeit one that protrudes beyond the rest of the case. The Galaxy S5 offers that. With more space, manufacturers can “cram” more battery inside. It performs well when we put it through a strenuous day and it keeps a solid charge when it’s left in standby. Without a contract, the Galaxy Note 4 is a whopping $699, whereas the Galaxy S6 Active is $694.99. And what’s interesting is that the Galaxy S5 is able to pull down comparable battery life.
