Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ pictured in the wild
The report, if proven true, is welcome news to most Samsung fans who have been disappointed with the tech giant’s previous Note release where they altogether ticked off the removable battery and expandable memory options. The Lenovo K3 Note is available via flash sales while the Galaxy J5 and higher-priced Galaxy J7 both arrived for sale today.
Samsung is reportedly preparing to unveil its next flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 5, and a super-sized version of the Galaxy S6 Edge next month. This should mean that it’ll sit a little easier in the hand.
Premium Design – Samsung has moved on from its plastic exterior and moved on to more luxurious metal casing.
Now Samsung has discontinued the 128GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in India.
According to Business Korea, the rush to release the phablets may be down to the South Korean juggernaut wanting to “not only check Apple, which threatens its number one position in global smartphone market share, but also capture consumers before the release of the iPhone 6S in September”. These two devices should hopefully give Samsung a strong second half in 2015, to compete with Apple.
The Lenovo handset has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 resulting in 401 ppi. Not only was it more stable than the alternative, but its performance blew the competition away.
Again, the main camera on the Galaxy Note 5 appears to be the same as the Galaxy Note 4’s on paper, but as the Galaxy S6 shows, not all 16-megapixel cameras with OIS are created equal. Let’s check out the key specs and more of these dual SIM handsets and see how they compete. This time around the new device is expected to be “thinner, lighter” with the use of the 14 nanometer Exynos octa-core processor. We’d be interested to hear your ultimate choice between these two smartphones. We’re expecting great things on the screen front.
So other than the fact that we have pictures of each phone, have we learned anything new?
And that’s exactly what we’re going to do here. Missing from the leaked image is the S Pen placement, which on the Note 4 is located at the bottom of the device.
