Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to be officially unveiled on August 2nd
According to Samsung, the change in nomenclature was done so that the Galaxy Note 7 could “complement [the] Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and unify [Samsung’s] product portfolio”.
Meanwhile, previous reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive next year with full 4K support.
Asus has already announced world’s first device that will run on Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor and Samsung might want to capitalise on that with the Galaxy Note 7.
The news comes via a variety of sources, including GSM Arena, which reports that Samsung has samples of the Galaxy Note 7 ready to go from August 2. Hopefully this is something Samsung has addressed with the Galaxy Note 7. Some 14 percent of those purchasing a new iPhone in the period had previously owned a Samsung phone, while only 5 percent of Samsung customers previously owned an iPhone. It also appears that the whole Brexit scenario may have an impact on the phablet’s price although this isn’t confirmed. As for the remainder of the specifications, Galaxy Note 7 will be available in a variety of storage models, which have been listed below and the internal memory will satisfy the UFS 2.0 standard.
How do you feel about this price tag? The battery on the new phone would be larger, and the famed S-Pen would be tweaked further on the new Note, we hear. Camera-wise, it is said that the primary camera will provide 12-megapixel high-quality images while having a 5-megapixel rear camera.
The Kantar data shows that only five percent of the Samsung purchases came from people who used iPhone earlier. The company has been working hard on this device and many new features are expected to be a part of this all new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 device.
One video from Vietnam now shows that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 possibly sporting a USB-C port in a YouTube video, Phone Arena has learned. Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display while the iPhone 6S only manages a 4.1 inch IPS LCD screen. Yes, we know that Samsung is also leading the sales due to its flagship being 6 months newer, but despite it being the case every year, Samsung has never managed to outpace Apple in terms of flagship sales. It is also expected that the phablet will come into Onyx, silver titanium and blue coral colors. Furthermore, it will be featuring a 16 GB RAM with an expandable inbuilt memory of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
