Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to go into mass production this July
Recent rumors swirling across tech land point to the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note unpacking event sometime in August.
More news about Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 should be made available in the near future. Hence, the upcoming phablet may launch as Galaxy Note 7 Edge.
According to a new report from the Korean web site ET News, mass production of the new Samsung phablet is expected to get underway as early as next month, which is significant particularly because it could be hinting at when the device will be made available to consumers. According to Sam Mobile, there are going to be a total of 5 million units produced, possibly to see what sort of response the public gives when the smartphone is introduced. The rumour, this time from the Korea Herald, says that the Galaxy Note 7 will include a second front-facing camera which will be used for scanning the iris. The Note 7 is expected to arrive with several improvements over the Galaxy Note 5 that was launched in August 2015.
Some renderings of the smartphone have been leaked online, apparently showing that the Note 7 is fitted with two cameras – one for taking selfies and the other for iris scanning. The device may feature either a Qualcomm 823 3.0GHz or Exynos 3.3GHz octa-core chipset backed by 6GB RAM to support performance. It will be coming with some new features like USB Type-C and iris scanner. Power to the device will be provided by a whopping 4,000mAh – 4,600mAH battery; and considering its large display size we expect it to be no smaller than that. Although speculations remain unconfirmed, leaked image of the event invite suggest that product launching of the next generation of Note lineup will happen on August 2 this year.
