Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge gets Cloud rolls with August Update
Last year, Samsung and Barnes & Noble launched the Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK, a brand new tablet that paired the B&N brand with Samsung’s Galaxy tablet hardware.
This isn’t quite surprising, considering that Samsung has already announced delayed releases in multiple European countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and even Russian Federation.
Samsung Note 7 employs a similar design to the Galaxy S series, but offers a larger screen and functions involving a pen accessory.
Once again the FCC has outed the details before anywhere else by listing a new tablet with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and the usual variety of WiFi bands.
Barnes & Noble says this Nook is powered by a quad-core T-Shark 2A processor, and it’s packed with 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab A NOOK is the next-generation reader’s tablet designed with the NOOK experience readers love and the latest tablet features they need, including a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Global Positioning System and an integrated FM tuner for radio (no Wi-Fi required) that makes tuning into local FM radio easier than ever before.
Samsung hasn’t announced the Galaxy Tab S3 officially yet, but rumors suggest they will do so in the early weeks of September, making this FCC leak seemingly the flawless timing just before an event looms. The software update also comes with the improvement to NFC and Bluetooth and with a few security updates. Plus, the Galaxy Tab A NOOK enables the expansion of storage space from 8GB to an additional 200GB via a microSD card (sold separately), including the ability to download certain NOOK Books directly to the microSD card.
Are you holding on to some cash for Samsung’s next tablet? If you’re a Barnes & Noble member, you can get a free cover for the device that usually retails for $40. The Honor 8 will also be available in September. Of course, there’s still the Nook Glowlight Plus if you only want an ebook reader.
