Samsung Galaxy S7 for T-Mobile Spotted in Geekbench Listing
Not once did we ever hear any information on the pricing. Both the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 have just popped up on the Bluetooth SIG website, with specs for the J5 recently showing up on GFXBench.
Last year, the Galaxy S6 for T-Mobile had model number SM-G920T, therefore the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to have model number SM-G930T.
The Geekbench listing also reveals some of the technical specifications of the smartphone.
In case you are wondering what the Samsung Galaxy S7 will look like, new leaked images taken from the FCC filing was released online.
It’s still new so it won’t be very stable at first, and you’ll need to flash this GApps zip package to get your Google apps working, but it’s still fascinating to see the support of the software towards the five year old hardware.
The Exynos 8890 powered Galaxy S7 scored 1873 in the single-core test, and 5946 in the multi-core test. While the Snapdragon 820 powered variant scored 2282 in the single-core test and 4979 in the multi-core test. The results aren’t surprising as these chipsets have performed similarly in the previous tests.
What we know so far is that the J5 will include a 5.2-inch 1280 x 720 panel, a little bigger than the current model. There are also reports of a 3,000 mAh battery which should be capable of offering up to two days of normal usage. Hence, it is safe to assume that February 21 will be the day where Samsung will officially announce on both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Instead, the company had launched Galaxy S6 Edge+, which failed to excite Note fans because it lacked many of their favorite features like S Pen stylus. While the Plus variant of the S6 Edge was unveiled a few months after the flagship version was unveiled, coming in with minor changes here and there, it would probably be a bad idea to come in with another Plus variant of the Galaxy S7 this soon.
