Samsung Galaxy S7 is missing one of Android’s best features
If you don’t mind having fewer Edge functions and a non-dual pixel camera, then the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge isn’t behind the Galaxy S7 Edge by much.
The Galaxy S7 measures 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches, while the LG G5 measures 5.88 x 2.91 x 0.30 inches.
Finally, it’s here. After countless rumors, speculations, leaks, and reports, the new Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship is now official.
Samsung published one of the first advertisements for the Galaxy S7 Edge recently, showing off some of the smartphone’s new features that should attract consumers to this year’s model.
Other Galaxy S7 specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8 Octa processor depending on the region, 4GB of RAM with either 32GB or 64GB of storage and a 12-megapixel camera. Both the devices are expandable up to 2TB and are waterproof.
The Android Marshmallow update is expected to arrive on the phones in a day or two.
The LG G5 will come in four colors – pink, gold, titan and silver.
Both the handsets come equipped with a fingerprint sensor. Such feature will even be complimented by Google’s very own SD support on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow which the two smartphones run out of the box.
Both phones are water resistant, which is really neat.
Android’s Marshmallow OS boasts a feature that allows users to install apps onto the microSD card.
128 GB of Internal Storage – While the base model of the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be equipped with 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage, the smartphone will also have a Pro version which will feature 128 GB of internal storage. Adoptable Storage would solve this problem for many users. It says the customer’s device should be configured after inserting the SIM card.
Once the feature is turned on, the microSD card is merged with the existing internal storage of the device running Android Marshmallow, extending the device’s capacity to install as many apps as possible.
