Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus Release Rumored
Samsung introduced last week the long-awaited Galaxy A9 smartphone in China.
While Samsung has revealed that it will be initially producing 5 million units of the Galaxy S7 phone, the figure is inclusive of both the variants. A flawless middle ground with a fancy curved display similar to the Edge phones released in 2015.
Aside from the display and the alleged iris scanner, other rumored specs of the Galaxy S7 include a USB Type-C port, which could be in line with the phone’s quick charge technology, and a pressure sensitive display that is likely Samsung’s bet to compete with Apple’s 3D Touch display.
Just like Apple has done for the past few years, and Google did this winter with the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Samsung will be releasing two different versions and sizes of the popular Galaxy S7.
The S7 will reportedly come with the measurements of 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94 mm and the S7+ will have measurements of 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82 mm.
The new Galaxy A9 also features support for Samsung Pay via the fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button of the device. The screen of the device will have an impressive resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels with a pixel density of 557ppi. It packs 3GB RAM, with 32GB of built-in internal storage, expandable via an external microSD card expansion of up to 128GB. The Adreno 530 GPU that the device will pack will handle the graphics department easily. Samsung Pay is in the news again as it has now been announced that users will soon be able to shop online using the Samsung Pay service. The chipset from Samsung scored a total of 103,692 points in the benchmark test which is quite a remarkable feat.
The rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini being released might have been confirmed as the device was recently listed by an e-commerce website, according to India Today. The SoC recorded a whopping score of 73,592 on AnTuTu benchmarks.
For best smartphone the Galaxy S6 and its Edge variant won a combined 41.85 percent of votes with the iPhone 6s coming in a far second with 16 percent of votes. This would mean that even the lower-end devices can have this feature installed.
