Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Galaxy S6 upgrade dilemma made clear

Samsung and LG took center stage at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, unveiling Galaxy S7 and LG G5 respectively.

But it looks like both LG and Samsung want you to use those microSD cards for media, documents, and other files… but not for apps.

Customers looking to purchase a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge should already expect long-lasting batteries. The colors are incredibly accurate and sharp, but not too sharp like Samsung’s older smartphones with AMOLED screens. It also has a larger battery than the non-Edge S7 at 3600mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is similar in size to last year’s model (5.1 inches) but packs a bigger battery and a memory card slot. That’s incredibly sharp, but where the Galaxy S7 has a slight edge is in that its screen is always-on, displaying the time, date and any notifications, so you can see them at a glance.

Two big announcements came from Samsung and LG – both companies showed off their highly anticipated flagship devices.

There’s no such thing as a flawless phone, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 is probably the best recent example.

“The camera is definitely something we’re really confident about because it’s a game-changing technology”, Kolhatkar said.

Mophie suggests that the new juice pack for the Galaxy S7 will provide about 11 additional hours of talk time, 4 extra hours of web browsing, up to 7 more hours of watching videos and almost 28 additional hours of listening to music. According to a report from SamMobile, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update version will now be rolling out to Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) and Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925F) models in the United Kingdom through Vodafone. Either way it comes with 4GB of RAM and should be hugely powerful.

During the unveiling of their new flagship smartphones, Samsung disclosed that each preorder for the device (Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge) will come with a shiny new Samsung Gear VR headset.
