Samsung Galaxy S8 official poster leaked? New design teased

Users will reportedly be able to open multiple apps alongside each other, similar to the way Microsoft’s “Continuum” feature gives users a computer-like work environment using just their smartphone and a monitor. So instead of calling it the Galaxy S8 and S8 edge, Samsung will simply call it the Galaxy S8 and the S8+. There isn’t a release date set yet for this but many are predicting it could be later this year.

Earlier this month, Samsung was confirmed to have filed a trademark for an “Infinity Display” to be featured on the new Galaxy device, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Foldable OLED screens have been around for some time, and recent innovations such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC could effectively make the Galaxy X into a powerful smartphone despite its mostly experimental, untested design. If seen practically, it might be a unique selling point for Samsung to compete for the ongoing war between its rival Apple to acquire the chair of dominance in the premium smartphone market.

Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus on March 29 at an event in London and NY at the same time.The company has confirmed to the South Korean media that it will start accepting preorders for both these gadgets from April 7. The only major upgrade over the past couple of years has been OLED displays.
