Rumors in-line with past reports suggest the phone could be powered by Exynos 8895 processors in Asia and Europe while devices in the US will be powered by Qualcomm. Even its latest Galaxy S7 and S7 edge flagships have fallen months behind there; they’ve recently been stuck on last year’s updates, as the company has lapsed into a quarterly release cadence rather than a monthly one.

Of course the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S8 + will not be 100% confirmed until the Korean manufacturer shows its new phones within two weeks, but it is quite feasible that these data are real.
