Samsung Galaxy S8 Review: Much-Needed Redemption
The highly anticipated smartphone is slated for a launch on 29 March in NY city.
Last year, for instance, the Galaxy S7 line launched with a Snapdragon 820 processor in the United States and China, and an Exynos 8890 chipset in all other regions worldwide.
One of the biggest issues with the Samsung Galaxy S6 has been the poor battery life of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 does its job well and with its excellent battery backup, manages to find a suitable place in the upper mid-range smartphones, at least for now. A special dock that lets users use the Galaxy S8 as a desktop PC is also expected.
Basically, within just a few months of the Galaxy S8’s release, it will offer a new facial recognition system that serves as the basis of a mobile payments system. Both the devices have the stronghold expectations amongst their users. iPhone 8 can also be called as iPhone X that will mark Apple’s successful decade of manufacturing iPhones.
It’s now unclear if or why Samsung wouldn’t feature the 835 processor in every model of the S8 but it’s possible enough supply and cost could be a factor.
It may even have a curved edge screen similar to that of the S7 Edge.
After the huge popularity that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have garnered from the speculated features and leaked images, it’s only normal that some companies will try to imitate and launch their own version of the devices.
But Samsung can’t seem to keep its forthcoming flagship under wraps.
Meanwhile, the larger Galaxy S8 Plus is said to start at a pretty steep 899€, which works out to $966. Other expected features include wireless charging, a base 64 gigabyte (GB) memory capacity and iris scanning. The handsets will run Android Nougat.
By far the phone’s most unique feature is its sleek design, on which Samsung also seems to rely their hype campaign on. Reports have indicated that Samsung expects the pricier Galax S8 Plus to be more popular with consumers.
The organization will most likely present the Galaxy S8 Plus alongside the Galaxy S8 also, at any rate, as per the latest reports. The front home button will be gone and you’ll be met with a pressure sensitive screen strip instead.
