Samsung Galaxy S8 to adopt facial scanning, ditch iris recognition
Even factoring in the U Ultra’s secondary display the size difference between these two 5.7-inch screen phones is comical. While both screen sizes are larger than the Note 7’s 5.7-inch screen, the S8 is expected to have a smaller footprint than the Note 7, S8 Edge and S8 Plus. And, once again, the on-screen navigation buttons are on full display in this leak.
Whether some of the colors will be exclusive to specific carriers remains to be seen.
Like the phone before it, the Galaxy S8 will feature front and rear cameras.

Kuo believes that Samsung will see weaker demand this year that that of the previous year. However, a few factors may prove otherwise as the company should decide whether or not to release the device on a much earlier date to fill the gap that the Galaxy Note 7 has made.
