Samsung Galaxy S8 With Exynos 8995 gets Benchmarked
Commercial success of Galaxy S8 is crucial for Samsung to save the reputation after the arrest of chief Jay Y. Lee over the corruption scandal and the mess with fire-prone Note 7 when company had to kill off devices, which cost it more than $6 billion.
If latest reports are to be believed, the premium Samsung Galaxy X foldable smartphone could be unveiled at the IFA tech show in Berlin, later this year.
According to the report, Samsung manufactures mobile DRAM for other OEMs and this will help the company in setting the benchmark for slow motion video capture.
Previous leaks have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with a single 12MP camera on it back. “The firm will instead focus on form-factor changes with the bezel-less design and edge-to-edge, flexible OLED displays”. However, the company has not confirmed a date for the worldwide rollout of the flagship gadgets. The display is also going to be curved around the sides, something that was long expected from the handset. Another interesting report says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will not have an S-Pen. The Exynos 8895 exceeds in nearly all aspects its predecessor the Exynos 8890, although it is also true that in certain areas, the difference is minimal. Now that they’re getting closer to manufacturing the smartphones, they’ve talked about it less and less. The Bixby voice assistant will be reportedly bundled into core apps like the camera, calendar and others. During this period, the upcoming Galaxy J3 (2017) amassed approvals and certificates from regulatory agencies that certified various model numbers, indicating that the handset will likely enjoy a widespread release in the United States through multiple carriers and retail channels.
The new premium handset will debut on March 29 to fill the void left by the global recall of the Galaxy Note 7 over a series of battery fires late past year.
This is perhaps the feature that I’m most looking forward to. That usually meant that the unlocked US version is already behind on updates – something that can now be remedied if Samsung can follow through this new commitment of monthly updates.
“The new Galaxy Tab S3 embodies Samsung’s commitment to deliver the best of entertainment and productivity, allowing consumers to do what they want, when they want”, said Alanna Cotton the VP at Samsung Electronics America. You can see the leaked images below.
