Samsung Galaxy S9 To Be Unveiled On February 25th
Sources believe that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S9+ with a dual camera setup, making it the first device in the iconic lineup with the feature.
South Korean phone giant Samsung, has confirmed February 25 as the date when its Galaxy S9 will be unveiled.
We can also be seeing a dandelion-themed user interface (UI) on the Galaxy S9, and this is very akin to the 2013’s Galaxy S3. While we will have to see how well it works in the Galaxy S9, it should allow for more control over how photos and videos look.
However, it remains unclear whether any or all of these will find itself on the S9. The S9 will have a single camera on the rear, just as per the current Galaxy S8. Furthermore, the S9 will come with 64GB of memory, 4GB of RAM, and an OLED display. The ability to switch apertures based on background lighting would bring the Galaxy S9 even closer to a DSLR-like photography experience, especially when combined with the expected S9+ dual camera system. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates. Samsung Galaxy S9 is said to feature a 5.77-inch screen whereas the Galaxy S9 will arrive with a larger 6.22-inch screen. Samsung’s Galaxy S9 will seemingly be an iterative upgrade rather than being a completely new innovation. They’re capable of motion-detected, “super slow-mo” videos in 480fps and 720p resolution, which means slow-mo workout shots are going to get insanely crisp.
Tom’s Guide talks about a new interface, more AI smarts, thinner bezels, the Snapdragon 845 processor (and presumably the equivalent Exynos processor in different markets) and more.
The Galaxy S9 image makes it clear that these sorts of features won’t be included on the S line – at least in this generation. This could be the new variable aperture camera that the company earlier debuted with their W2018 flip phone, according to Ars Technica.
There will also be differences – other than display size – between the two smartphones.
