Samsung introduces the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at the MWC 2016

As reported by several Reddit users, who already pre-ordered their latest Galaxy device and inquired when will they be able to get their hands on it, T-Mobile representatives had some rather positive news for them.

In particular, there were quite a few smartphones announced. There’s the traditional flip cover with a window like previous years, then a completely clear one, and an LED flip case. The new Galaxy S7 is about the same size as the S6, but slightly thicker and about a half-ounce heavier: 0.31 inches and 5.36 ounces to the S6’s 0.27 inches and 4.87 ounces. Whereas the promised deliverables did not arrive on time, reports now suggest that Samsung finally has managed to work out the release of the firmware to devices like Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Note Edge, S5 Neo, S6 Duos, Note 4 and many more.

Formally speaking, the first batches of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge aren’t scheduled to hit the first stores until March 11. This is not a new discovery; it has been emerging over the past couple years. iPhones were being created with a larger screen, similar to Samsung’s “phablets” or tablet phones. The Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5, and Xperia X Performance, for instance, were three of the top phones on display. Even with last year’s models, Samsung cameras tend to produce brighter night shots than the iPhone. The device is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 16MB dual camera and storage that can be expanded upto 200GB.

Samsung Gear 360: MWC wasn’t just about phones. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.

In addition to that, there is also better use for the edge screen now, as the new flagship can accommodate up to nine customisable panels.

The LG G5 manage to impress with its list of modules and also some of the new upgrades.

Meanwhile, Samsung placed a 12-MP camera at the back of the Galaxy S7 and a 5-MP shooter at the front. The S7’s battery is, sadly, still non-removable, but it got an upgrade to 3,000mAh compared with the S6’s 2,550mAh battery.

Samsung Electronics has adopted heat-pipes for its Galaxy S7-series, and this is expected to become a trend in the smartphone industry bringing business opportunities for heat-pipe makers.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) features a 5.5 Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display. People were also impressed with the new dual rear camera that the lG G5 has to offer.
