Samsung is Pushing Android 7.0 Nougat to Some Galaxy S7 Users
If true, we’re told that the Galaxy S8 will not have a 2160p display like some rumors suggested, and will instead continue with a 1440p display instead.
In March 2016, Samsung launched the duo Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge equipped with outstanding features, including higher battery capacity, Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution (2K), expanded storage capacity and waterproof support.
Samsung doesn’t have to do much with the Galaxy S8 release to get folks attention, and as you can see, removing the home button would do the trick. However schedule for mass-production and release date were postponed as there were unexpected incidences regarding quality of Galaxy Note 7 in previous year and as certain specifications such as fingerprint recognition function and dual-camera were changed during a development stage of Galaxy S8.
Pundits believe Samsung’s effort to bring new features, such as its iris scanning technology to market, weeks again of Apple’s iPhone 7 is what ultimately caused the downfall of the Galaxy Note 7. After the Note 7 scandal – Samsung latest release had a battery malfunction which started several fires, and caused property damages – the company kept a low profile, but investors and fans of the brand pushed for a new product release.
With rumors pointing to a 2017 Galaxy X release, will Samsung overcome the lost consumer trust with this gimmicky bendable phone?
The release appears to confirm that Galaxy S7 range owners will be receiving v7.0 rather than the 7.1.1 iteration now enjoyed by Google Pixel phone owners. It will reportedly be made compatible with the new Gear VR wearable. Reports say it will have a 5-inch display for use as smartphone but can be “opened” to transform into a device with 8-inch display.
Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone could give users the ability to plug it into a screen and turn it into a desktop personal computer, according to a media report.
Instead, both models will adopt a luxurious, curved, edge-encompassing display.
Not only will Bixby be included with the Galaxy Note 8, but the display could be getting a massive boost.
Now whether or not the public would still embrace a phablet from Samsung is still unsure at this point.
