Samsung is reportedly going for bigger batteries for the Galaxy S8
Before the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was launched, it was said to be coming with many features. But a difference is a difference and Samsung won that race with their rumored 5.8-inch display panel while LG stood at 5.7-inch display panel size.
The 5.8-inch model will price at €799, while the 6.2-inch model will come at €899. That’s the word from Dr. Raymond M. Soneira, the president of DisplayMate, a company that helps provide an industry standard for screens by testing displays extensively. In addition, we expect Samsung to be extremely prudent, especially when it comes to the battery inside its new phone.
Samsung’s biggest obstacle will be convincing consumers that the Note 8 will be problem free.
The report mentions that Samsung has provided its battery suppliers with an updated roadmap, which includes a 3,250 mAh and 3,750 mAh batteries.
This change will allow Samsung to reduce the bezels at the bottom of the device, bringing its high-resolution display to the very base of the chassis – like it now does with the sides of its curved S7 Edge screen. Samsung is set to introduce in-house developed artificial intelligence software known as “Bixby” in order to counter the likes of Apple’s very own Siri.
On the other hand, an alleged prototype of Samsung Galaxy S8 is also making round in the internet. Unfortunately, though, it would also mean a little delay on the Galaxy S8’s release. Samsung Galaxy S8 is yet another highly-anticipated smartphone that is about to be released soon but not at the MWC 2017. Instead, the Galaxy S8 is expected to be unveiled on March 29 and released in mid-April. This led the way for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to re-emerge as one of the best phablets on the markets.
Moreover, as per the latest leak from Roland Quandt of winfuture.de, Samsung will also launch a pair of wireless headphones along with the much leaked Samsung Galaxy S8. Park the S8 on the optional compact DeX Station dock (the connection made via the S8’s USB-C port) and you’ll be able to plug in a keyboard, mouse and monitor to turn your phone into an Android-based computer.
