Samsung launches Galaxy Tab S2, world’s slimmest tablet
That being said, a new report has surfaced in which it claims that Samsung is now pitching the idea of the tablets to telcos in South Korea. This tablet is powered by the Exynos 5433 octa-core SoC along with a Mali T760 MP6 GPU for graphics.
And for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE variant users, Airtel also offers free 2GB of 4G Internet data per month for two months as well.
Samsung India launched, what they say is, the world’s slimmest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2.
Samsung Galaxy J7 SM-J700 features a 5.5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED Display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be available through all retail outlets in the country starting September 2.
With tablet sales expected to decline by 8 percent over the coming year, Samsung could be facing an uphill battle getting customers to buy its Tab S2, no matter how attractive the hardware and design. It has 32Gb internal memory and a microSD card of up to 128GB is supported, so users that need more storage to save their videos or photos can use this option. On the connectivity, this tab supports 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS. There is also an 8-megapixel auto-focus primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The tablet runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system that has some proprietary features such as Reading mode, Dual-Window multitasking and Pop-Up Window.
“We believe the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the most complete personal visual device designed for consumers to carry and use anywhere”, Sharma said.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 comes loaded with a 5,870 mAh battery.
As Samsung’s current flagship metal-framed tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2 employs the same design language found in the company’s other recent mobile devices. “This product will be made in India and made for India”, he added.
