Samsung has announced a new way to pay for some of the contents like apps, books, movies and some other things on the TV by “Samsung Pay on TV”.
Samsung Electronics is gearing towards a new trend in content consumption as it launches a payment service that lets users buy content on some of its newer smart TVs.

Last March Samsung announced Samsung Pay – a mobile payment offering which it hopes will go head to head with Apple Pay.
While the fortunes of Samsung’s mobile phones – particularly its high-end Galaxy line – have been somewhat uneven in recent memory, the company’s dominance in the smart TV market remains largely uncontested.
The Samsung Pay integration will be available within select 2014 and 2015 Samsung Smart TV models.
Users simply need to follow three steps after an initial registration setup to start making payments through Samsung Pay on smart TVs.
Additionally, Samsung mobile device users can transfer their Samsung account information and registered payment methods (credit card, debit card, PayPal) to the Samsung Smart TV without additional registration steps.
At first, users who wish to enable this payment feature, will likely need to enter in all the pertinent information such as their name, billing details, etc. Then, when a purchase is being made, just press the “Pay Now” button on the screen and enter in a four-digit personal identification number (PIN).
What exactly will people be able to purchase from their televisions?
