Samsung’s Galaxy S8 rumored to be able to record 1000fps videos
A strong rumour doing the rounds is the fact that the Galaxy S8’s rear camera will come with the ability to shoot super slow motion video.
Sony surprised the world at the Mobile World Congress a few weeks ago by releasing a flagship device that nobody really saw coming.
The report from The Investor stated that the while the technology for the upcoming smartphone is already available, mass-producing the foldable OLED displays are an entirely different matter.
BGR reported that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will have the most elegant design.
This would make it over four times slower than Apple’s iPhone which now captures video at 240fps. Samsung is likely to integrate its own technology to achieve that kind of slo-mo, and like Sony’s solution use add additional DRAM to store those images before the ISP can take it all in.
Samsung is working real hard to make sure that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are the most feature-rich phones of 2017. “Perspective” is probably apt, considering this is about the Galaxy S8’s imaging capabilities. Backed by a massive 6000mah battery; the premium tablet from Samsung is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, under the hood. The Samsung Pay feature will use a combination of these features to be more full proof and less prone to hacking. So instead of calling it the Galaxy S8 and S8 edge, Samsung will simply call it the Galaxy S8 and the S8+.
The leak comes from a Weibo post by user Kevin Wong, who is the research director of IHS for China. The Galaxy Tab S3 will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and will also come with an enhanced S Pen.
AS the launch date gets closer for the new Samsung Galaxy S8 it been revealed that the big tech Company is planning to integrate facial-recognition technology for mobile payments. Apple is actually rumored to have an advanced camera capable of facial and iris detection.
Both rear and front-facing cameras have been improved to 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel respectively.
Earlier this month, Samsung was confirmed to have filed a trademark for an “Infinity Display” to be featured on the new Galaxy device, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The bezels will change significantly as they will be designed according to the latest devices.
