Samsung to release Note 6 in United Kingdom but not Galaxy S7 Edge+
Fresh photo uploaded by the credible tipster NWE (sourced from Weibo) shows the curvy front of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
James Vincent from The Verge reported that Samsung plans to launch on the same date a 360-degree camera that is compatible with the Galaxy S7.
The phone is also expected to pack 4GB RAM, the latest LTE modem for super fast wireless speeds, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and will likely run on Android Marshmallow.
Samsung lovers keep making feature requests and the South Korean smartphone maker carefully listens to the customer feedback as well.
It is possible that these leaks are correct, and that the Galaxy S6 Edge + and the Note 5 will be getting its update in February, followed by the S6 and S6 Edge sometime in between February and March.
Plenty of leaked images claiming to be the tech giant’s next flagship device have surfaced these past few weeks. If and when mobile software becomes significantly more demanding, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be ready.
The phone in the shot appears to be running a benchmark app, which lists the device as SM-G9350 and shows a score of 134,704 points.
Days ahead of Samsung’s pre-MWC 2016 event, the company’s two anticipated flagship models – the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge – have leaked in live images for the first time. It basically turns off the LED to display the black color – this is why a black wallpaper is great battery saving for a phone with an AMOLED screen.
While the Note series had always been popular in the United Kingdom, the new Galaxy Edge+ line was unproven when it launched last year so many were disappointed when it completely replaced the Note 5 in the United Kingdom last year. That will be a downgrade from the S6’s 16-megapixel camera.
Like the Apple iPhone 6S, the Galaxy S7 is expected to come with a pressure sensitive screen technology.
