Sanctions to hit Chrysler
Sales of the MKC soared 185 percent to 1,947 units. “Transaction prices continue to climb, increasing 2.5 per cent in June from past year, bringing the average up to $33,340”.
Continued laggards in the group were the Fiat and Dodge brands, off 32.7% and 17.1%, respectively. That was partly due to the increased momentum in luxury SUV sales.
The total sales of the company fell short of analyst estimates.
The company’s sales were powered by its Jeep brand, whose Patriot and Cheeroke sales enjoyed strong demand, rising by a quarter to 71,529 vehicles.
Fiat Chrysler, whose USA operations are based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, owns the Chrysler and Jeep brands. A booming housing market is also a factor: contractors are breaking ground on more homes, which means they’re buying more trucks. GM gained in truck market share however, led by the success of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pickups. Sales of the C-MAX decreased 16 percent to 2,481 units.
Aided by one more selling day than the prior-year period, six of the top seven selling auto makers in the USA reported gains. General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) said that their trucks and SUVs ATPs outpaced the sales volume growth.
It’s FCA’s best June sales since 2006.

The Jeep brand will be launched in India early next year with the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler models that will be sold as CBUs. “We will not be satisfied until we firmly re-establish the trust our customers place in us”. The corporation has return on equity of 6.90% and while returns on assets was calculated 0.90% with 26.34% year to date performance.

Why General Motors Company entered oversold zone after this report? Although only up less than one percent, it was enough to create an all time best June in sales for the manufacturer.
At Nissan, vehicle sales reached 124,250 for June, which were up from 109,640 in June of 2014. The Santa Fe crossover saw a gain of 17 percent, but sales of the Sonata midsize dropped 40 percent. Chrysler 200 sedan sales rose 153 percent to 18,560 vehicles.
