Sanders Addresses Bill Clinton’s Past Transgressions
“When it really mattered, Sen”.
‘I guess it was just seeing them on TV so much now, and her [Hillary] with the Benghazi [hearing],’ she said.
But this is exactly what I was talking about the other day that if there’s ever an issue that comes up, if by chance there’s an issue or something that takes place with the former president…
Driving home the message that Hillary Clinton will not let the successes of the past eight years be undone. “And that’s what I’m looking for”.
“Forty-three millions of Americans have no health insurance, millions of senior citizens can not afford their prescription drugs, and this House is going to send to the Senate for a trial, to go month, after month, after month, where Bill Clinton touched Monica Lewinsky?”.
“So this is a significant difference, and it’s important that, you know, maybe it’s time for Sen”.
“But I am not gonna get into the personal stuff”, he added.
“Oh my goodness, wow”, Clinton said in Sioux City as dozens of hands went up. Clinton was again asked multiple times. “I didn’t want [my] granddaughters and nieces, when they’re 21 years old, to turn to me and say, ‘Why didn’t you tell what this man did to you?'”
“The Sanders campaign has understandably tried to eliminate any distinction between their candidate’s record and President Obama”, Fallon said on Friday.
It focuses only on the encounters detailed during Clinton’s presidency – not the allegations made or revealed before or after he left the White House.
Speaking on MSNBC today, Sanders reiterated his support for the measures the President wants to implement.
In the 2016 campaign, however, it appears the gloves may be coming off. Even the most rabid liberals, woefully blind for too long, are finally conceding Bill’s pattern of abuse may be an issue, so this is no vast right-wing conspiracy. The White House denied the allegations in 1999.
Lena Dunham, Tony Goldwyn and Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as Olympic soccer player Abby Wambach, will all be campaigning for Clinton in Iowa and/or New Hampshire this month, the idea being that if Clinton herself can’t be in the state, at least another famous face will be on her behalf.
Clinton’s comments followed a week in which gun control dominated the national discourse after the Obama administration took long-awaited executive action to expand background checks for gun sales. “Sanders and Hillary Clinton”, Podesta said in a phone call with reporters.
And there was more. “Sanders voted with the gun lobby, and I voted against the gun lobby”. She said she was told not to reveal the affair by a Democratic staffer in 1992 who she said warned “they knew that I went jogging by myself and he couldn’t guarantee what would happen to my pretty little legs”.
