Sanders, Clinton Clash In Last Debate Before NH Primary
Between 2001 and last spring, when Hillary Clinton launched her second presidential campaign, she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, brought in more than $153 million for making paid speeches, including millions for addresses given to big banks, according to a new CNN analysis.
“She’s the best alternative to Bernie”, said Danielle Adcock, 20, of Manchester, who supports Sanders.
“I happen to like Hillary Clinton, but I am astounded by some of the people that she has hired, including David Brock”, Sanders said, questioning his opponent’s judgment. Even with the smooth recovery, it’s a pretty awkward moment. Let’s face it: if Hillary Clinton is the nominee for the Democrats. you’ll be running against the prospect of the first woman president. “In recent days, both candidates have escalated their attacks and upended the previously civil tone of the contest”. Clinton and her aides have tried to lower expectations in New Hampshire – something Clinton did against on Friday – while also pledging to fight in the state. “Every day, you know, they’re attacking us in one way or the other”.
Time will tell if Devine is right.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she supported that war”.
“That means that the millions and millions of people throughout our country, including many who have given up on the political process, the many who think their vote, their voice no longer matters…need to, with a very loud voice, be heard on Tuesday in new Hampshire and heard all over this country”.
Clinton and her aides left last night’s Democratic debate – the first between only the former secretary of state and Sanders – enthused about her performance, particularly her handle on foreign policy issues compared to the Vermont senator.
Sanders, meanwhile, would wallop Trump by a resounding 49 to 39 percent and beat Cruz by 46 to 42 percent, Quinnipiac said.
Part of that strategy means cutting into the double-digit advantage that Sanders has enjoyed in New Hampshire for several months. A sizable 30% of likely GOP voters say they are still trying to decide whom to support, down just four points since the immediate post-Iowa numbers. A second article identified a further “false” statement during Thursday’s MSNBC debate, in which Sanders attempted to explain the Telegraph incident, but in so doing ignored another segment of the ad, in which the campaign clearly erred in claiming the endorsement of another local paper.
Megan Miller, a 21-year-old student at Emerson College in Boston, traveled to New Hampshire with some of her classmates to see Clinton and other candidates, including Republicans Jeb Bush and Ben Carson. The poll includes interviews with a random sample of 953 adult residents of New Hampshire, including 406 who say they plan to vote in the Democratic presidential primary and 362 who plan to vote in the Republican presidential primary. “But if you look at Sanders he has been solid as concrete with regards to his passion for racial, social and economic justice”. “I told them what I thought”.
