Sanders Health Is ‘Very Good,’ Says Doctor
Bernie Sanders criticizes Hillary Clinton for changing her mind and now agreeing to more debates. Sanders said he would agree to more debates if they would be during primetime instead of weekend evenings.
The Sanders campaign circulated a doctor’s note from Sanders’ physician for the last 26 years, Rear Adm. Brian P. Monahan, who is the attending physician of the United States Congress.
While he supported civil unions as far back as 15 years ago, Sanders did so mostly because of his strong belief in state’s rights, and largely avoided the subject of legal marriage for same-sex couples at the time.
Bernie Sanders’ New Hampshire momentum – combined with a late-breaking email bombshell – could force Hillary Clinton to write off the Granite State’s first-in-the-nation primary in order to salvage her White House bid. “We’ll win or we’ll lose, we’ll do it honestly”. “But where were you on all of the other trade agreements?”
“We’ve agreed to an additional debate in NH and are now in discussions to agree to additional debates – we think one of them should be in Flint”, said Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. Sarandon again referred to Clinton – without naming her – when she blasted another candidate’s unwillingness to take on the fight for a $15 minimum wage, as Sanders has.
Perhaps sensing the previously unthinkable – a victory in Iowa – the Democratic candidate himself spent the day cleaning up some loose ends before the caucuses.
“As president, I will restore and rebuild our military, restore the alliances and keep us safe”. A new Clinton ad says she would build upon the health care law, “not start over”, and defend Planned Parenthood, “not attack it”, messages that reinforce charges she has made against Sanders.
The response from the Clinton camp on Thursday acceded to some of these conditions, saying it would discuss adding debates only in April and May. He has also had surgery to fix hernias and excise a vocal cord cyst, the letter said.
Mo Elleithee, former communications director for the Democratic National Committee and a Clinton staffer in her 2008 campaign, said the last week before Iowa is a key test for every candidate.
Sanders would be 75 upon his inauguration, making him the oldest president ever elected.
