Sanders narrows gap on Clinton in new poll
Exactly where the race stands, however, remains murky.
Bernie Sanders, Clinton’s chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, is practically tied with Clinton in voter polls. “What I meant was, for the last five years, she’s been engaged in foreign policy”.
Clinton doesn’t have a good track record with the Iowa caucus.
“I think a candidate who was originally thought to be the anointed candidate, the inevitable candidate, is now locked in a very hard race here in Iowa and in New Hampshire”, Sanders told reporters in Iowa Monday.

Biden said Sanders is making improvements to his position.
“After three months of Secretary Hillary Clinton holding an average 10-point lead among Iowa Democrats, the playing field has changed”, Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement.
A poll released on Wednesday by Quinnipiac University showed Sanders winning 49 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers in Iowa, compared to 44 percent for Clinton. On Tuesday, Ms Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, launched an attack on Mr Sanders.
Until this week, she had, with an eye on the general election in November, been concentrating her attacks on Republicans.
The near total focus on Sanders is new for Clinton, a candidate who spent the early months of the campaign avoiding even mentioning Sanders’ name.
“I didn’t know when I became a mom, that one of the great gifts I would receive would be watching my parents as grandparents”, she said, describing how her parents enjoy singing “Wheels on the Bus” with granddaughter Charlotte, who was born in September 2014.
“He wants to roll Medicare, Medicaid, the children’s health insurance program, the Affordable Care Act program and private health insurance into a national system and turn it over to the states to administer”.
Both candidates received dueling endorsements on the eve of Obama’s State of the Union address. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton did not attend, and the audience noticed.
Former President Bill Clinton will campaign in Keene, Claremont and Hanover Wednesday.
“You [Bernie Sanders] voted for what the NRA said was the biggest NRA priority giving them immunity, and he says, “Well, I’m from Vermont”, she said, according to the Associated Press.
Clinton hit Sanders for bragging about standing up to special interests, but siding with the National Rifle Association on certain legislation.
