Sandra Bland death: Texas police release new CCTV

According to the Houston Chronicle, D.A. Elton Mathis announced on Monday that he is installing defense attorneys Lewis M. White and Darrell W. Jordan to spearhead the independent committee and determine if criminal charges should be filed in the case.

Furthermore, others have pointed out that you can see up Sandra Bland’s nose as if the picture was taken in a downward view.

Here is Bland being interviewed and searched shortly after arriving at the prison on July 10. Those in county jails are usually serving short sentences or are awaiting trial and have not yet been convicted, like Bland.

In the video we see Bland’s arrival at the jail on June 10, and different moments from throughout her three days there, including Bland going into a bathroom to change out of her clothes into a jail jumpsuit.

Bland was found dead in her cell July 13, three days after her arrest.

Further, an initial toxicology report was released Monday that two experts said raised the possibility that she may have used marijuana while in custody. That’s more than three times the legal limit for drivers in Colorado and Washington, states that permit the recreational use of marijuana.

While giving his opinion, Goldberger said that chronic users get high concentration once they stop using the drug, unlike the non- chronic users.

Investigators say even the look, when closely examined, shows Sandra Bland’s eyes have a lifeless look. She called later that day to tell him that, indeed, she got the job.

Duhon said Waller County officials have also gotten death threats through e-mail and by phone, some of which have been turned over to the FBI for investigation.
