Sandra Bullock’s ‘Minions’ heels auctioned for charity
“This is a side to Sandra Bullock we haven’t seen before”, says Meledandri.
And so they have made a decision to give those yellow jelly bean-like creatures their own movie. With the new “Minions” movie coming out, they seem to be everywhere you go, and now they’re even on Sandra Bullock’s feet! After encounters with some of the world’s most notorious leaders, including Napoleon and Dracula, the main three decide to travel to Villain-Con, a special convention meant entirely for super-villains. He’s a scientist and she’s a villain. Once they win her over, the Minions are set the task of stealing the crown jewels.
And while Bullock has heaped praises for Scarlet Overkill, the actress can’t help but gush about the Minions she got to work with in the film, saying that in real life, she actually has so much in common with them and she’s basically a Minion herself.
The 50-year-old star brought her five-year-old son Louis to the premiere, and the pair were spotted at the after-party, which included a carnival and a giant Minion slide. The kid surprises me all the time…He has no idea what an Oscar is.
“I have to do the baby sitting”, she said. Bullock voices the villainous character Scarlet Overkill in the movie, which opens July 10 and also stars Jon Hamm and Allison Janney.
She continued, “I think times are changing”. Bob would just be fascinated with all the lights and the technical aspects and not know what was going on most of the time. And so we always had fans asking, where did they come from?
