Sandy Hook Families Honor, Remember Their ‘Little Angels’

However, there are advocates seeking changes that will make America safer despite ardent opposition from the gun lobby.

The many lives lost from mass shootings in recent years across the country, and the heartbreak that is passed onto their loved ones, was honored on Monday during a bell ringing ceremony in Duluth.

Among them was Andy Parker, whose daughter, WDBJ-TV reporter Alison Parker, was shot and killed along with her cameraman during a live broadcast in Roanoke.

“These statistics tell a very sad and unacceptable story”. Unfortunately, this serves as little surprise for a liberal media that’s been ardent supporters of gun control (as NewsBusters has chronicled over the years).

The school has been torn down, and a new one is being built on the site.

The Gun Violence Archive, formed in 2013, says there have been 317 mass shootings in the United States in 2015, and a total of 12,621 deaths as a result of gun violence in the same period. “We’ve accomplished this through requiring accountability and responsibility on the part of gun owners, dealers, manufacturers and law enforcement with respect to reasonable restrictions and gun laws that keep guns out of the hands of risky people without infringing on the constitutional rights of lawful owners”.
