Sarah Michelle Gellar Posts Tribute to Robin Williams On The Anniversary Of
It was one year ago today that actor Robin Williams hanged himself at his home in Tiburon.
Gellar, who starred alongside the great comic legend in the CBS show The insane Ones, shared a photo of the infamous park bench in Boston that Williams sat on during the movie Good Will Hunting, along with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson.
It has been a year since Robin Williams’ death, and circumstances surrounding his suicide are yet to be publicized.
Millions of Williams’ admirers have already posted heartfelt tributes to the Boulevard star as his would-be 64th birthday passed in late July.
The touching message comes after Robin’s daughter, Zelda, took to Instagram last month to announce that she’d be taking a break from social networking during the anniversary of her dad’s death.
“It’s a time better served away from the opinions or sentiments of others, and I appreciate your understanding”, she wrote before asking followers to be respectful to each other, “both because I will not be here to delete or mediate trolling, and because kindness is in short supply these days anyhow”. This week, it was reported the actor’s son Zak had inherited his father’s desire to make a good difference in the world, and is now co-teaching a class called Financial Responsibility to inmates in San Quentin State Prison in San Francisco, California.
Shortly after his death his wife Susan Schneider revealed William’s had Parkinson’s.
