Sarah Palin endorses Donald Trump, rallying the right

Few endorsements matter to any significant degree anymore, especially when the person giving the endorsement appears to be drunk while doing so, but somehow I suspect this one could make a difference for two reasons.

Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has thrown her support behind frontrunner Donald Trump for the party’s presidential nomination.

Campaigning Tuesday in New Hampshire, Cruz responded to Palin’s endorsement of Trump, saying “regardless of what Sarah intends to do in 2016, I will remain a big, big fan of Sarah Palin”. “She can pick winners”.

Her backing for Trump comes as a blow for Ted Cruz who was hoping to receive her support in the contest.

No matter how insane you think Sarah Palin is, this endorsement could be the final thing Donald Trump needed to win the Republican race for the Presidential candidate.

Her endorsement is said to likely give a powerful boost to the number of Trump’s supporters.

While Trump said he doesn’t typically put much stock in endorsements, he said, “I think it could very well result in votes”.

“She just said, ‘I really like what’s going on”.

George Will says a Hillary vs. Trump general election would be the first without a “real conservative” running as the Republican nominee.

Palin told police he and the woman had been arguing most of the night over her alleged contact with a former boyfriend. “Are you ready to make America great again”, Palin is heard asking the crowd, who cheered for her in response. “In fact, It’s time to drill, baby, drill down and hold these folks accountable and we need to stop the self-sabotage and elect a new and independent candidate who represents that”.

“Our own GOP machine, the establishment, they who would assemble the political landscape, they’re attacking their own front runner”, she said.

Palin will also be joining Trump at two events Wednesday, including a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Last July, Trump said on the talk show “The Palin Update” that he would love to have her join his administration if he’s elected president.

Her endorsement may bode well for Trump in Iowa, where he is running a close race against Texas Sen.

Earlier Tuesday, Trump received an endorsement from the daughter of movie star John Wayne.
