Saturday Morning Weather: Still Hot, PM Storms

Today: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 90.
Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sun and clouds throughout the day with highs reaching the lower-90s. Highest heat index readings of around 109 in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.
The potential for heat-related health issues will be high, forecasters with the NWS warned.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 77. Lows in the mid-70s. “When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening”. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 92. The best chance for seeing thunderstorms will be north of the Mass Pike. South wind 7 to 17 miles per hour.
Rain chances will actually increase even more as we get set for a new work week with coverage at a healthy 60% on Monday.
