Satya Nadella: Next Microsoft Phone Will Be “Ultimate Mobile Device”
News site DrWindows claim that Hewlett-Packard is collaborating with Microsoft to create the newest iteration of the Windows 10 smartphone. Tech enthusiasts have come up with innumerable theories, release dates and anticipated specs and features of the devices. The company is reportedly developing a Surface-branded smartphone with some ultra high-end hardware. However, per reports, the company has emailed the first people who preordered the $2,999 PC, alerting them of the Surface Studio’s shipment and arrival this week.
Still, even though the company has largely failed in the smartphone market, Microsoft is in the best position that it has ever been in to make waves. But the firm has not made any official announcement on the given news and this is somewhat disappointing for its fans.
According to an article posted on MacRumors, rumors include the Surface Phone’s compatibility with a Surface Book or a Surface Studio. But that – and the small matter of the tablet running Windows 10 – isn’t getting in the way of some Mac users preordering the device.
In the interview, Nadella reinstated Microsoft’s desire not just to enter the market but to be able to do and offer something new to consumers.
On top of that, the Surface Phone could also sport a big RAM size worth 6 GB and a bright and vivid display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. This would surely be an upgrade from the existing Skylake chipset. That device is believed to be the Surface Phone, which has been rumored for a long time. Still, all Surface devices will get this update at some point. Moreover, the device will fall heir to Lumia’s best features such as Glance, ClearBlack screens, and a whole lot more. Similarly, the Eve V sports Thunderbolt 3, USB-C and 2 full-sized USB-A 3.0 ports, which beats the Surface Pro 4, which only has one USB port.
Microsoft’s Surface series of computers, coupled with their Xbox One console and HoloLens, also received rave feedback from tech reviewers, stating that they suddenly are looking forward to Microsoft devices rather than those from Apple. The MacBook Pro weighs in at 1.37 kilograms but then it depends on the configuration.
