Saudi ambassador confirms bin Laden family killed
Sana is the half sister of Osama bin Laden, the late Al Qaeda leader held as responsible for attacks on 11 September 2001 in the United States that killed almost 3,000 people and led to President George W Bush launching wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom says family members of the late al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden were killed in a private jet crash in southern England.
The jet, inbound from Milan, crashed near Blackbushe Airport, Yateley, on Friday killing the pilot and all three passengers. He died in a plane crash in Saudi Arabia in 1967.
Eyewitnesses said there had been a “ball of flames” and “several explosions”.
Osama bin Laden’s father Mohammed was a construction magnate and his numerous relatives constitute a prominent family with wide-ranging business interests.
The tragedy on Friday is the third fatal plane crash involving members of the vast and wealthy bin Laden clan.
“The embassy will comply with up on the incident and its circumstances with the involved British authorities and work on rushing up the handover of the our bodies of the victims to the dominion for prayer and burial”, the ambassador stated in a press release tweeted by the embassy.
The police have launched an investigation into what caused the crash alongside the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB). The plane crashed during take-off from Blackbushe airport.
Two members of the family of Osama bin Laden were reportedly killed in a plane crash in England Friday.
