SCHILLING BENCHED Ex-pitcher pulled from TV booth over tweet
The Hill reported that Shilling posted a photo of Adolf Hitler on Twitter, along with the caption: “It’s said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists”.
Schilling has since deleted the tweet that resulted in his recent fallout, but it can be seen here if you missed it. The former World Series champion apologized for his actions shortly after ESPN suspended him yesterday.

ESPN has not publicly stated this absence as a suspension or given a time period on when Schilling may be back. ESPN’s PR guru Josh Krulewitz responded, saying that the tweet was “completely unacceptable” and removing Schilling from his current assignment broadcasting the Little League World Series pending “further consideration”.
“Predicting the length of ESPN suspensions can be a sticky wicket”, Yoder wrote.
It’s unclear how long Schilling will remain off the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast.
