Graham appears to be offering Trump, in particular, advice about how to modify his campaign rhetoric – in a sense, the evangelist seems to be echoing what the chairman of the Republican National Committee, Reince Priebus, reportedly told Trump several weeks ago about “toning down” his attacks.
“With regards to women’s health funding broadly, I misspoke, as there are countless community health centers, rural clinics, and other women’s health organizations that need to be fully funded”, Bushsaid.
“I think the guy went way overboard – offensive, outrageous, pick your adjective – but what Marco Rubiosaid has as much of an impact in terms of where the Republican Party is today as anybody else on that stage and it is deeply troubling”.
Trump is using a “no holds barred” approach in his speeches and taking advantage of the country’s exhausted state with political correctness.
