Scott won’t cut Kobe’s minutes
Otherwise, it could potentially mean Kobe Bryant will not be the only man leaving the Los Angeles Lakers at some point this season.
Bryant, a 17-time All-Star, is averaging 15.2 points and 3.5 assists per game this season.
On Wednesday, Scott clearly stated that he had not even considered reducing Bryant’s role or attempting to cut minutes.
Despite the struggles, the 37-year-old is not anxious and said the shooting will get better as the season progresses, ESPN reported. “It’s been tough. (But) My shooting will be better”.
“I could have scored 80”. It wouldn’t have made a damn difference. “We don’t have chemistry problems”.
I asked Warriors’ interim coach Luke Walton before Friday’s game here against the Suns what he thought of Bryant’s ominous warning. I believe Kobe Bryant should retire. I don’t think so. “My shooting will be better, we’ll be better. It’s just not worth it anymore”.
In a conference call with worldwide media outlets on Thursday morning (Manila time), the transcript of which was given to Spin.ph, Curry didn’t deny that they have talked about wanting to break the historic 33-game winning streak achieved by the Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West-led Los Angeles Lakers in 1972.
“To start the season 16-0 and do something that’s never been done before in National Basketball Association history, it’s pretty cool”, Curry said.
Going by the numbers, the reigning champions are much-improved from a season ago.
And hey, Kobe, listen it’s not your fault. The night for the Lakers hit a low point after one Warrior fan hit a shot for a prize during a timeout. But for how badly the Lakers are right now, perhaps the question should have been avoided by the Lakers head coach, and he could have conveyed that his main focus right now is getting his ailing team back on the right track. “And they have precipitated, expedited the process of Kobe’s demise because of what they have surrounded him with and what they have failed to surround him with”.
“And then just every player individually has a higher spotlight, brighter spotlight, than they did past year, because we’re the champs and people want to know what we’re up to, they want to kind of stay attached as they can to our story”.
