Seahawks RB Lynch active for playoff game vs. Carolina

Carolina Panthers marched to the NFC Championship game Sunday with a 31-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Panthers, on a 12-game winning streak at home, will have home turf advantage against the Cardinals next weekend. Three plays later, Stewart surged into the end zone.

“We played a helluva a first half”, Panthers defensive tackle Dwan Edwards said.

The Panthers dominated Seattle’s offensive line for most of the day en route to the 31-24 victory, though their success tapered off as the game wore on.

The half ended with Hauschka’s 55-yard field goal attempt falling short. They had to make up three scores in the fourth quarter instead of two, and two scores in the final 2:30 instead of one. “I think [tight end Greg Olsen] gives him the most crap”.

“A lot of us wouldn’t mind going back there to Carolina and playing those guys again since they beat us a year ago when we had a lot of injuries”, Cardinals cornerback Justin Bethel said.
