Seattle Seahawks re-sign RB Christine Michael

Michael has come full circle this season and is known to the Seahawks organization. The Washington Redskins signed Michael to their practice squad but released him Tuesday. “He’s here today with us, he was available so we got a chance to get him back”. “He really is. We should have come up with tailbone. So I think we gave it a great effort, it just wasn’t able to work out for us”. We’ll see if this time around he can produce.

Michael, 25, was traded to Dallas for a conditional draft pick on September 9 after falling behind undrafted rookie Thomas Rawls on the team’s depth chart. Carroll said he’s “still a ways off” from returning from the toe injury that has sidelined him the last two games, but Carroll said he had no more specific estimate on when that could be. “I’m just ready to get going and help out in whichever way they want me to do”. “I was, believe it or not, keeping up with Seattle throughout the whole season”. The addition of Coffman (who was signed and subsequently released from the club earlier this month) is likely insurance for Luke Willson, who suffered a rib injury against the Ravens.

Cornerback Marcus Burley also sprained his ankle against but was not on the injury report.
