See an Eagle Try to Fly Away From Prince Charles and Camilla
Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, stepped out on Wednesday for a lovely afternoon at the Sandringham Flower Show in King’s Lynn, England, but things ended up taking a pretty wild turn.
Prince Charles has a close encounter with a bald eagle in Sandringham.
Mary McDougall was terrified when armed royal protection officers swooped on her and a friend as they took photographs at Dumfries House, Ayrshire.
In the past the prince was forced to dodge its wings as he handled the bird.
Caught in the crosshairs, literally, was Prince Charles, who – dressed in a suit and holding an umbrella and pink flower – quickly leaned his upper body back and away from the eagle’s wings.
“I’m keeping well back”, he added.
His wife Camilla was with him as he mingled with the crowd and many brought gifts to the event on Queen Elizabeth’s country estate.
“I’ve kept writing and they always reply”.
