With ‘Doctor Who, the adventures can involve anyone, anywhere at any time [laughs]. All is going well until they discover an abandoned spaceship that is being haunted by a ghostly creature named Prentis (Paul Kaye).

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has opened up about Clara’s (Jenna Coleman) departure from the show this season, and although he didn’t give away any big whopping spoilers, he did tease that it would be “traumatic” for Peter Capaldi’s Doctor. Even the Doctor’s approach to the situation hearkens back to the show’s earliest days, when the Doctor’s curiosity made him willing not only to take risks but to push others to do so as well. Thats the beginning of the story. It would be ideal if they simply replace 10’s goofy blue and red paper 3D glasses to keep things unique to each Doctor, however I’m not totally sold on the idea of them fully replacing the sonic screwdriver. Being ‘Doctor Who there was also a certain amount of digital effects so we then spent about five or six weeks in the edit.

The episode once again is the first part of a two-part story. It was quite an intensive process but it had to be. Next thing you know, Moran is back… but he’s not the same.

‘It will feel real to me when it actually goes out there! The crew can’t figure out why Pritchard is acting so odd and won’t turn around later, until they notice his actual body floating outside the window – yep, Pritchard’s a ghost now, too. But I find that exciting.
