See How “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” Plays with amiibo
While waiting for the official release of “The Legend of Zelda Wii U” game, fans can look forward to something else in the meantime since there are rumors that Nintendo has created a new promotional video for the game. We already have Star Fox and Falco from the Super Smash Bros. amiibo and given that Nintendo is releasing huge batches of Animal Crossing amiibo, perhaps we’ll see the same closer to release.
But with Twilight Princess HD on March 4th and Pokkén Torunament on March 18th (and perhaps Mario & Sonic nearby) the schedule for exclusive titles has been really squeezed together, with both the rest of Q1 and late spring now looking a little barren. The second detail deals with the controls of the game, and it appears that the game will use the Wii U’s Gyroscope for aiming.
“By tapping the Link or Toon Link amiibo, players can replenish their arrows, Nintendo said in the press release”. Meanwhile, Zelda and Sheik will refill hearts.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon series, Nintendo also confirmed that Jigglypuff, Charizard, Greninja and Lucario will be available once again in stores. When activated, players will be able to boost Mario and Sonic’s outfits with the power of the day.
Star Fox Zero will have amiibo support at its April launch.
The Legend of Zelda Wii U release date this year is one of the most anticipated Wii U events and with the date nearing Nintendo gives more information on the upcoming game.
