The stars of both shows came together at the weekend to honour James Burrows on an upcoming NBC special recognising the director’s TV achievements.

But the presence of 5 out of 6 Friends in one place, plus Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Simon Helberg (plus photographer Kaley Cuoco) makes this the best photo ever, right? As reported previously, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow have gathered for an NBC special honoring TV director James Burrows.

Two sitcom worlds collided on Sunday night as the super-smart gang from The Big Bang Theory joined Rachel, Joey, Ross, Rachel and Monica for an incredible group snap.

While the actor, who played Chandler Bing in the show, has dashed the hopes of fans this time around, he did recently suggest that the cast could come together for new episodes in the future. “I think we would be open to doing something, some kind of, maybe, some TV special”.

His comments contradict those made by Friends co-creator Marta Kaufman in 2015. I will say there will never be a Friends reunion movie’.
